But during interaction with students at the European Institute of Design Pete Lau, OnePlus CEO has revealed some details about upcoming smart TV.
According to Lau, company wanted to expand its business to other sectors, so, company decided to bring smart TV into market. He did not talked about the release date of OnePlus smart TV, but rumours suggests that company may bring smart TV later this year or early 2020.
Lau said that the OnePlus TV will have a smart display.
According to Lau, remote controls are now outdated and AI can be used to understand users viewing habit. According to the users viewing habits TV will show relevant information to users and bring TV shows according to user’s taste. He also informed that the company is working in the electronics and smart cards fields.
According to Lau statement, OnePlus is expected to utilize the power of 5G and bring virtual assistant with the smart TV.
Company is also planning to build products for the office something like cloud-connected era. Company will use power of 5G and AI in its products. Company is expected to bring in-car and office gadgets in next few years.
OnePlus is one of the top mobile manufacturers in the world. Company is expected to launch three smartphones instead of two in 2019. According to the various rumours these three phones may be OnePlus 7, OnePlus 7 Pro and OnePlua 5G phone.
It is expected that the company may release these three OnePlus 7, OnePlus 7 Pro and OnePlua 5G phones in soon this year. The release date for these phones is still not announced by company.
According to the rumours these phones are coming with pop-up selfie camera, triple rear cameras, Snapdragon 855 chipset and all screen display.
