American automotive and Energy Company Tesla, Inc. cuts huge price on its electric car models S and X. Finally long-wait is over and there is a huge price cut on these models making it more affordable for the users. Company announced price cut of $35,000 on base version of the Model 3 on Thursday. Company also announced price cut for other cars and now Models S and X. Each will cost $12,000 to $18,000 less as compared to the prices earlier this week.
With this new price cut announcement the Model S will starts at a price tag of $79,000. The base version is now called “standard range”. The performances of these electric cars are very good and it can attend 0 to 60 mph in 4.2 seconds. At once charge Model S will travel up to 270 miles and it has a top speed of 140 mile per hour.
The long range model Model S of its electric car series stars from $83,000 and this model can be drive for 335 miles in one charge. Tesla Model S drives as a top speed of 155 mph and it can attain a speed of 0 to 60 mph in just 4.1 seconds.
The Model S Performance version can go upto to 315 miles with a single charge and its top speed is 155 mph. This model of electric car can attend a speed of 0 to 60mph in 3 seconds only. The Model S Performance cost starts at $99,000 now.
The Model S Performance with “Ludicrous Mode” now starts at a price of $114,000 and it can attend a speed of 0 to 60 mph in just 2.4 seconds.
The Model X is the cheapest car model in this series and its starts at $88,000 after price cut by company. Earlier it was costing $96,000. The Model X can go 295 miles with a single charge and attends 60 mph in 4.7 seconds.
The Model X Performance model starts at $104,000 and it can attend 0 to 60 mph in 3.5 seconds.
The Model X Performance with Ludicrous Mode starts at $119,000 after price cut. This model is powerful in Model X series and can attend a speed of 60 mph in 2.8 seconds.
Tesla to sale its Model S and Model X through online model and this price reduction are possible only due to its decision to sale these models online. Tesla announced on Thursday to sale these model online-only going forward. This announcement may result into layoffs, but still there are no details about this by company.
